![]() James L. Trichon has over 30 years of senior management experience, specializing in strategic planning, marketing, relationship building, reorganization issues, and general management. He has had extensive experience in both start-up and turnaround situations. As founder and chief executive officer of Triam, Incorporated. Jim was responsible for guiding the firm’s growth for almost 25 years from a one-man operation to a nationally known contract management, consulting, and business development company employing 75 full-time people in four offices with annual revenues in excess of $12 M. Triam had an international client roster including small private firms, publicly held Fortune 500 companies and not-for-profit institutions. The company was sold to an investor group in 1998. Jim then became a managing partner in Hershhorn & Trichon, L.L.C., established specifically to turnaround Fix-Corp. International, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed plastic recycling and pallet manufacturing company with plants in Ohio, Florida, and Canada employing about 250 people. Hershhorn & Trichon had full management control and Board of Directors representation. The business was sold to Global Plastics Recycling, Inc. in March 2002. Since then, he has consulted for a wide range of companies, primarily in the healthcare and business services industries.
Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors of several companies, including National Medical Services, Inc., Energy Management Solutions, Inc., Fenway Management Advisors, L.L.C., and Realtime Animation, Ltd. He served on Philadelphia’s Mayor Edward Rendell’s Private Sector Task Force on Management and Productivity and was a President Ronald Reagan appointee to the U.S. Small Business Council. Jim has been a frequent guest lecturer at the Entrepreneurial Center at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the School of Communications & Theatre and the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University, and the Continuing Executive Education Department of the University of Maryland. Jim received his BA degree in government from the University of Pennsylvania. He furthered his studies, receiving an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and an M.A. in communications from Temple University. Jim serves as a Trustee or Board Member for a number of not-for-profit organizations. |
